• DESCRIPTION

This fingerless gloves pattern features a cable knit design, similar to the gloves the Outlander character Malva Christie is seen wearing in season 6.
They are knit in the round on circular needles.

Yarn

1 x 100g skein of any medium weight yarn (04) / Aran / Worsted / 10 Ply.

I used Cascade 220 (100% wool / 100g / 200m / 219yds) in the color Chocolate Heather (2431).

Needles

5mm (US 8) 9" or 16" circular knitting needles.

Cable needle.

• SKILLS

Level - Intermediate

This is an intermediate knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, cable stitches C6B and C6F, knitting in the round, shaping through increases and decreases, casting on, and casting off.

The thumb gusset and thumb are knit in the round.

• SIZING

Women's small/medium/large. In patt - S (M/L)

Length from wrist to top of hand - 9.5 inches

Width (laying flat) - 3.5/4/4.5 inches

Thumb - 2 inches
